Back It Up

If you were around in the terrible teens, this needs no explanation. I used it as an excuse to paint bubble-wrap and the cool plastic sleeves that hard drives come in.

It may be prosaic, but bubble-wrap is one of the neatest looking things in modern life. It has as many different opacities as lace, and it makes a satisfying sound when popped.

The great irony of this painting is that my laptop died before this hard drive was even installed.

Back It Up, 6X8, oil on archival canvasboard, framed in simple pewter. Shipping is included within the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii and international shipping, contact me for an estimate of the surcharge.
