Sometimes It Rains

A terrific, booming thunderstorm drove my friends and me into the Temple at Ocean Park to wait out the bad weather. I loved watching the wind whipping the trees along Royal Street, as gouts of water blew through. All too soon it was done and we were back to normal atmospherics. That makes for easier painting and less interesting results, of course.

This remains one of my favorite paintings.

If a painting disappoints, I will of course refund your money, on return of the painting back in my Rockport studio. Returned art must be properly packaged, with corner protectors as required and insured to its full value.
