Zoom Class: Fundamentals of Painting

Tuesdays, 6 PM – 9 PM EST

Consistent, systematic process is the key to painting with confidence. We’ll do a deep dive into:

• The most-successful order of operations for your specific media, including oils, watercolors, acrylics and pastels
• Color theory
• Composition
• Brushwork and technique
• The color of light and shadow
• Learning to depict light sources and their effects
• Creating depth in a painting
• Critiquing our work as we go

This class is designed for the emerging painter and will be a safe, supportive environment while still maintaining a fast pace of learning.

The class will run for 6 weeks on Tuesdays, 6-9PM EST. Participants will be sent a zoom link.
