Back in 2011, a video of a woman falling into a fountain while texting garnered two million hits. Like we haven’t all done it since then.

What amazes me about this painting is that I’d have no hesitation wearing those shoes, but I wouldn’t be caught dead with that cell phone. It didn’t even have a camera!

I laid the shoes and phone on a mirror and misted them periodically with water. Whatever brand of phone it was (and I don’t remember), it tolerated that abuse just fine.
