Skylarking II

This is a subject I could paint infinitely, as it brings me great happiness. Sunlight sparkles on the water, the canvas tightens overhead, and salt-spray foams over the rail. It’s a lovely, warm summer day. The only sounds are the water and the wind. You’re in a world of swirling clouds and a million shades of blue, violet, and green.

The word Skylarking originally meant running around the rigging of a sailing vessel for fun. How appropriate for knocking around the bay on a warm summer day.

Skylarking II is a signature piece that will carry its weight in any room.
