Walnut Tree, Stone Wall

It was 45-knot gale and a dull sky but who says cloudy can’t be beautiful? On this foggy day, an elderly walnut leaned up against a stone wall. They’ve been propping each other up for a few decades. They’re like an old married couple, inseparable, each with their role to play.

This painting is very difficult to photograph because of the subtlety of its coloration.

Walnut Tree, Stone Wall is 8×16, on archival canvasboard, in an elegant, hand-made plein air frame.
