Birches are a common tree here in the northeast, and they’re beautiful. This one was in my front garden for many years, and I’ve painted it many times, both en plein air and studio.

Here in Maine they grow in large colonies, the first trees to repopulate open meadows. The more time I spend in the woods, the more I love walking through birch groves, with their filtered light and beautiful white trunks.

Birches, 6X8, oil on archival canvasboard, framed in simple pewter. Shipping is included within the continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii and international shipping, contact me for an estimate of the surcharge.

If a painting disappoints, I will of course refund your money, on return of the painting back in my Rockport studio. Returned art must be properly packaged, with corner protectors as required and insured to its full value.

All refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment.
